Privacy policy

This notice describes the personal information used to run UniWay and the choices available to you.

Last updated 14 October 2026

Who handles your information

BUXORO TARAQQIYOT ZIYO OK, the operator of UniWay, is responsible for the information described here. Contact us at support@uniwayasia.uz or +998 91 444 00 60 for privacy requests.

Information we collect

Registration and account information includes name, age, city, email, phone number, Telegram username, sign-in credentials, and student learning goals or teacher background, subjects, availability, and pricing where supplied. We also process bookings, passes, attendance, learning materials, profile media, support requests, and chat messages. Live lessons may involve audio and video. When recorded, recordings and lesson details are stored for authorized access. We receive limited device or network information needed for sign-in, security checks, and site operation.

How we use information

We use information to review applications, create accounts, match students with teachers, schedule and provide lessons, manage passes, communicate about the service, maintain safety, investigate reports, protect accounts, and meet legal obligations. Registration is not consent to unrelated marketing.

Who can see information

Relevant profile and lesson information may be visible to the student, teacher, or group involved. UniWay administrators may access account, lesson, and chat records for support, moderation, safeguarding, and operations. Published teacher profile details may be visible to people browsing tutors. Avoid placing private contact details in public profile content.

Service providers and international processing

UniWay uses Supabase for authentication, database, and some file storage; Cloudflare for security verification and private media storage; and Jitsi or JaaS for live lessons and recordings, depending on configuration. Hosting and email providers may also process data needed to run the site. Processing may occur outside Uzbekistan. We assess applicable transfer and local storage requirements before choosing where regulated data is stored.

Retention and security

We keep information as long as needed for accounts and lessons, disputes, user protection, and legal obligations. Some records may remain after an account closes. We use access controls and private storage for non-public lesson records, but no online service can promise absolute security. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to or correction of your information, ask about deletion or restriction, and raise privacy concerns through support. We assess requests under applicable law and may verify your identity. You can also adjust browser storage settings; see our cookie policy.

Children and young learners

A parent or legal guardian should be involved where applicable law requires it. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information without required authorization. Do not send identity documents or sensitive personal information through chat.

Changes

We update this notice when our data practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
