UniWay safety
Chat terms of service
UniWay chat is provided for communication about lessons, courses, assignments, bookings, and learning support. By using chat, students and teachers agree to the following conditions.
Administrator monitoring
Messages are stored by UniWay and may be reviewed by the main administrator for safeguarding, moderation, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, and platform quality. Chat participants should not expect private communication from UniWay administrators.
Appropriate use
Be respectful and keep conversations related to learning. Harassment, discrimination, threats, inappropriate content, spam, and attempts to move unsafe interactions outside the platform are prohibited.
Sensitive information
Do not send passwords, banking credentials, identity-document scans, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal data through chat.
Records and enforcement
Conversation records may be retained while accounts or courses remain active and when needed to investigate a report. UniWay may restrict chat or account access when these terms are violated.
Report concerns
If a conversation makes you uncomfortable or appears unsafe, stop responding and contact the main administrator. Conversation records can be reviewed as part of the report.
